Take Thoughts Captive

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down the strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ… 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Focus on Christ

How hard is it for you to keep your mind focused on Christ when you are going through difficult situations?

Christ experienced many disappointing situations, but He kept His Mind on His mission without wavering. What kept Him focused? His relationship with His Heavenly Father through prayer.

Hw do you keep your mind focused? Take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. As long as you obey Christ, you will not waver.

Nothing can stop you from fulfilling God’s call on your life when your thoughts are His thoughts. God Himself will keep you focused. 

When you obey God in the moment, His weapons of warfare are divine and will cast down, destroy, and make false thinking fade away.

Focus on Self

If you are always worried, then your mind is on self instead of God. If you are always discouraged, then God’s Word is not central in your thinking. However, when you daily exchange everything you know about yourself and everything you know about God, your mind will stay on His Ways, His Mission, and His Purpose. Self will be defeated and Christ will be exalted!
