Obedience Deepens Relationships

Not everyone who says to Me, “Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? Matthew 7:21-22

Focus on Christ

How well do you know Jesus? How would you describe your relationship with Christ? How would He describe His relationship with you?

Many Christians say Jesus is Lord, but will not begin doing what they know they should. When a person comes to faith in Christ, that person will submit to His Will and Ways.

He wants you to get into His Word and discover how to obey Him.

Some people think obedience mean living a miserable life. Rather, it is just the opposite. When you obey Christ, life becomes abundant and free.

Focus on Self

Self wants everything and everyone to adjust to its comfort. Self wants others obedience. Biblical obedience produces right feelings and right living by adjusting a person’s life to God. When obedience takes place, your relationship with Christ deepens. Why? Because obedience is the result of love.
